Product overview
R22 refrigerant, alias R-22, freon 22, F-22, HCFC-22, difluoromethane, trade names Freon 22, genetron 22, etc., English name chlorodifuoromethane, chemical formula CHCLF2. Because R-22 belongs to HCFC substances (the second batch of restricted ODS substances class II ozone depleting substances), it attacks the ozone layer and has a greenhouse effect, the initial installation of new air conditioning and refrigeration equipment has been stopped in developed countries (EU, Japan and the United States);
Application
R22, as the most widely used medium and low temperature refrigerant, is mainly used in household air conditioners, commercial air conditioners, central air conditioners, mobile air conditioners, heat pump water heaters, dehumidifiers, refrigerators, food refrigeration equipment, marine refrigeration equipment, industrial refrigeration, commercial refrigeration, refrigeration condensing units, supermarket display cabinets and other refrigeration equipment. R22 can also be used as raw material for producing polytetrafluoroethylene resin, intermediate of fire extinguishing agent 1121, and physical foaming agent for polymer (plastic).
Storage and transportation
R22 refrigerant cylinder is a pressurized container. It should be stored away from spark, heat source and direct sunlight. It is usually stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse; Handle with care to prevent damage to steel cylinders, valves and other accessories.
Matching refrigerant oil
The final refrigerant oil to be used for R22 refrigerant in different equipment and different application sites shall be determined according to the recommendations of the refrigeration compressor and refrigeration (air conditioning) equipment manufacturers, or according to the specific conditions of the refrigeration compressor and refrigeration equipment, the refrigerator lubricating oil with the same design and the requirements of the technician shall be used, that is, the equivalent refrigerant oil shall be used.
